Green tea is so popular and is a part of Chinese, Koreans and Japanese’ diets dating many decades back — and is getting even more popular today even in the other parts of the globe. When I went to to visit customers in Lahore and Islamabad in Pakistan 3-4 years back, I could barely eat meals because they kept on serving tea with milk. I had like more than 20 cups in one day! Unbelievable. When I worked at a Japanese firm before, we also had our share of green tea drinks everyday spared for us by our Japanese boss. So sweet of him! But it’s different when I was with another boss in a Korean engineering firm. They had tea every single minute of the day, everyday, and they drank it like water. We were not invited though but we took our chances of getting some sips a day whenever our Korean bosses were away…hehe. The maids gave they key, anyway!
