One of my favorite tv shows is Zone Reality. I watch it almost everyday as it gives me a lot of very helpful information and tips on how to fight for my life, stay away from danger, how to survive during difficult times, and many more. Very often it shows alcohol-related deaths and accidents, and a number of rescue works on boating fatalities and accidents. Boating Education is highly recommended to all boating enthusiasts in order to combat alcohol-related deaths and accidents. Like drunk-driving, boating under the influence is equally dangerous and fatal. Records show that alcohol is directly related to fatal boating accidents in Arizona each year — watercraft law enforcement agencies in Arizona itself had arrested over 350 people who were operating watercraft or boating operating under the influence (OUI) of alcohol. It was reported that 50% of all fatal boating accidents in Arizona in 2007 were alcohol related and that 30% of all fatal boating accidents nationwide are alcohol related, too.

Although operating a boat while drunk or impaired is extremely dangerous and illegal, yet, boating safety education is not required to operate a boat in Arizona unlike driving a car, that is why, the less educated boaters are more prone to accidents and deaths due to safety ignorance and alcohol consumption.
