music is in her blood..you can’t dispute it. although she didn’t come from an intensely musical family (’a family but she knows that music plays a very special melody in her heart. to diarize: grandpa–was a singing violinist; aunts x & ruby–classical songbirds; uncle dindo–singing guitarist; mom myrn, sis judith & jade–dancing queens; sis janz–plays drums, piano & guitar; sis joy–plays guitar & the gen-x vocalist. where she stands right now is that surprisingly, she’s all-of-them-in-one! haha! despite the absence of real quality music that she generates, her passion for music is remarkable & so intense that she sings, dances & plays guitar whole-heartedly to express her true emotions. watching concerts & listening to live pop, retro, blues & jazz music are her 2 other favorite pastimes. guitar-playing was a thing in the past but now she’s learning again to play hardcore guitar from scratch.
quick tips: 1-a part of guitar-playing goals must be focused on practicing the melodies to be able to play the pieces of music that she likes, meaning, her goal may be to learn a number of songs or melodies by heart so she can play them in any setting. these songs or melodies are to be learned so well so that she won’t have to worry if asked to play in front of other people; 2-she must have a repertoire with guitar pieces thoroughly rehearsed so that she can perform at the top of her ability when asked to play. when practicing a guitar piece, she must make sure that she can memorize much more than the melody, the attitude, posture & level of body tension while playing, the pressure that she applies when pressing down the strings or holding the pick. if she likes what she is practicing, that joy will probably be transmitted to the audience when performing; 3-she must learn the pieces that she feels good about & let other people listen to them & feel good about them, too. and that she will certainly do for the love of music!
