Today’s lunch out wasn’t fun! It was a very hectic 1-hour escape from work. I had been searching around for a tall lampshade or any kind of torch-like home decor for the empty corner in my room. I saw a couple of them in one furniture shop but I didn’t like the designs very much and they were costly. So, I decided to get myself another nice ceiling fan instead. Got to find that lampshade somewhere some other time then!

It’s close to Valentine’s Day. I didn’t ask for it, that’s why, I didn’t get it yet! Sigh! Men should not wait till being asked for something, it should just be automatic, right? Laughs. I would love to have one — but how can I afford it? I only see these types of homes on tv, and mostly, rich people like celebrities, famous politicians, or wealthy sportsmen own them. It is not impossible to own motorhomes though, however, you have got to have a really deep pocket to have one since the make especially of that of a home coach as well as the facilities being provided are usually of top quality and designs. I love it!

Friends, let’s face it! We, at late 30’s, would start having it! Not everyone though but I saw many friends from my college days already wear it — the wrinkles! Well, the best part of it is that there is a wrinkle lotion that would cover the lines and marks on your face that no one would ever notice them. I’m not 100% sure if I already have those vivid lines but it’s good to remember that there is an emergency remedy.

I wonder if my friends were serious about giving me a pack of weight loss products this Valentine’s Day or not. Sis’ hubby was recently involved in a terrible car accident and his vehicle, ‘though huge and looking so sturdy, was a total wreck. The slight accident I had two months back had me done a whole lot of good things to my car. I’m not sure if I should call it a blessing in disguise — hehe, should not! Due to that incident, I had my rear and front bumpers replaced, side door re-polished, spotlights changed, and airbag and some electronic controls checked/fixed. My car eventually looked like a brand new one after coming out from the garage 5 days later. Some really nice, huge cars can get Mopar parts installed as replacements to the old and damaged parts. Even the hybrid cars can get shocks and struts from Mopar, too.

This post is long overdue. I should’ve done this long time back but got no chance till I finally chanced upon his photo on a friend’s homepage. Everybody knows, and there’s no doubt about it, that Manny Pacquaio is simply one of the best of all time when he proved to the whole world that he was and is the best fighter of this generation. Pacquiao was technically brilliant where he performed moves with extreme accuracy and efficiency beating the much bigger Miguel Cotto in a very brutal fashion. He has an incredible win record over Erik Morales, Juan Manuel Marquez, Ricky Hatton, Oscar dela Hoya, and Marco Antonio Barrera.

Manny Pacquiao is the very first man to win 7 titles in 7 different weight categories (divisions) and has made himself placed among the boxing legends Roberto Duran, Henry Armstrong and Julio Cesar Chavez, and also made his way right to the top among the likes of Muhammad Ali, Joe Louis and Sugar Ray Robinson. What a fantastic accomplishment of a great fighter!

Now, it looks like he’s going to make another history in the world of boxing when he fights Floyd Mayweather in March 2010. That’s going to really make the whole world re-confirm to him how spectacular his boxing career really is. His power, speed and punch resistance are indeed super adorable!
