Honeymoon cruise!

I’ll sound too ambitious if I say I need and wish for a Royal Caribbean cruise present on my birthday. That’s not only being overly ambitious. That’s also being too unreasonable of me! It just wouldn’t happen…at least not for now! Spelunking in the countryside might be more realistic but I admit my dream to join a royal caribbean cruise one day shouldn’t be discounted…and he knows that! I wouldn’t be surprised at all if my husband would ask me to join him and his team in the cruise one day since that’s what he actually promised me during our first few years together. Busy life, tight schedules and work-related commitments are not good enough reasons to stop us from enjoying a blissful and relaxing life together. Without his knowing, I honestly look forward to it everyday…

Vitamins can surely enhance more likings to food. That’s the normal tendency if you are taking vitamins based on my friends’ feedback. True or not, that doesn’t really stop me from believing since I myself tend to crave for more foods when I take vitamins. This best weight loss supplement, they say, is a blast. I haven’t tried it yet but common sense tells me that this helps in reducing the appetite for food and in boosting up metabolism. It’s hard to say no to yummy delights that friends buy for you, yet, you still can eat or control the intake by adopting weight loss regimens. Every expectant or expecting mother hopes of giving birth to a bouncing healthy baby. There are no other gifts that she could ever hope for than to have a very successful delivery and a child delivered in a perfect condition. Yet, we can’t deny the facts that many mothers also suffer during pregnancy as well as delivery. There are also newborns that come with illnesses or deficiencies at birth. Health of both the mother and child is very crucial and while we are all aware of the many benefits that prenatal vitamins could offer us, we should not at all take them for granted. Vitamins when taken while conceiving a baby and during the nine-month journey, tremendously help prevent or at least reduce illnesses, birth defects and deficiencies in both the mother and the child. Who could risk otherwise?

You will not believe it but I find it really funny. People nowadays tend to buy smaller things like smaller car, mobile phone, computer or laptop. But hey, I got them all small, okay! Currently, I use the smallest laptop from one maker and it’s been pretty small and cool for the last 2 and a half years. So small that I can just slip it on and carry it everyday in my shoulder bag. Then one day, I had to replace its battery. Yes, I got a new replacement battery but it looks so funny. My very small laptop is now looking bulky and big because the new battery comes with a stand. A battery and a stand in one! Amazing! Well, I wouldn’t be surprised if it will one day look like a small TV with a stand. At least, tv stands come in a variety of style or design, functionality and mount but this one really looks odd! Trust me!

My friend’s child is barely 2 months old, yet, she’s already got her college education almost covered. How I envy this very thoughtful couple-friends for taking an extra step towards providing a bright future for their child this early! They said that they could not afford to miss this great opportunity to start planning for their child’s future while she’s still that small. Well, in my sincere admiration of the couple’s responsible way of handling and planning things, I offered to let them have their agent call me as well to have a discussion of another possible project for myself.

They were glad to introduce me and their agent was even more grateful to sit with me for some briefings on the other options that may suit me and my needs. It was fast and easy. You know what? For any insurance agents, getting life insurance leads takes so much of his time and effort, and there are lots of uncertainties. Well, lucky that I was already giving it a thought and so approaching me was like ‘eating a banana while watching TV’.

Not so idle though, yet, the feeling is just like that! One given time was totally spent unproductively by just getting hooked up on the internet till the wee hours in the morning playing online games or engaging in social network sites’ sometimes-no-sense-chats. Many find it fun but surely it does steal away your most precious time which could’ve been spent more wisely in some other better things.

Going back to school is one of the many things that occupy my mind recently. However, giving up a good job is one very difficult move to take. In order to serve my desire of again going for further studies while continuing my work, I would need to tap with or into a good and reliable online university that would give me the best opportunity to learn and grow as a career person. There are so many learning institutions out there that offer this option, however, there would be several factors that are also needed for consideration. Choosing your favorite field of study is one thing but not all online degree programs will help you advance in your chosen career. It is important to choose a program which you think will complement your work or will pave the way for personal growth and career advancement in the future. And, I wonder if considering an online study in corporate governance is the best option for me…

Beach House or Hilltop Bungalow?

Yes! One good thing to do in taking care of yourself is to have a proper home ventilation. Moisture, bad odors as well as lack of air flow within your home can create lots of bigger problems. However, sometimes you are not at all in the position to change your home or do even some minor renovations. If you’re caught in between then I guess a good dehumidifier is what you need to have at home. It is very necessary for you and me to stay in a healthier and cleaner environment.

Today’s lunch out wasn’t fun! It was a very hectic 1-hour escape from work. I had been searching around for a tall lampshade or any kind of torch-like home decor for the empty corner in my room. I saw a couple of them in one furniture shop but I didn’t like the designs very much and they were costly. So, I decided to get myself another nice ceiling fan instead. Got to find that lampshade somewhere some other time then!

It’s close to Valentine’s Day. I didn’t ask for it, that’s why, I didn’t get it yet! Sigh! Men should not wait till being asked for something, it should just be automatic, right? Laughs. I would love to have one — but how can I afford it? I only see these types of homes on tv, and mostly, rich people like celebrities, famous politicians, or wealthy sportsmen own them. It is not impossible to own motorhomes though, however, you have got to have a really deep pocket to have one since the make especially of that of a home coach as well as the facilities being provided are usually of top quality and designs. I love it!

Friends, let’s face it! We, at late 30’s, would start having it! Not everyone though but I saw many friends from my college days already wear it — the wrinkles! Well, the best part of it is that there is a wrinkle lotion that would cover the lines and marks on your face that no one would ever notice them. I’m not 100% sure if I already have those vivid lines but it’s good to remember that there is an emergency remedy.

I wonder if my friends were serious about giving me a pack of weight loss products this Valentine’s Day or not. They must be joking since I don’t need them at all — at least I know that I don’t need them right now — and definitely not on Valentine’s Day! But look! These initiatives are actually worth considering since the more we age, the higher the tendency of gaining weight. Why? Because we become less active in our day to day life, tend to shy away from sports, become too lazy to exercise on a regular basis, and these result in lowering/reducing our body’s metabolism. I’m no skeptic and now is one excited soul!

Sis’ hubby was recently involved in a terrible car accident and his vehicle, ‘though huge and looking so sturdy, was a total wreck. Thanks God he survived that horrible ordeal and his auto insurance took charge of everything. That’s lucky of him! Many people mostly in the rural areas do not buy insurance policies for their vehicles. That’s a total risk, so to speak. We shouldn’t gamble or risk our lives and the lives of others. We should protect ourselves, our loved ones and get even the cheapest car insurance available today.
