Thailand is famous for its tradition of a body massage and when I visited Thailand a year ago, I never missed the chance of experiencing it myself. I love the way the lady masseuse moved each part of my body, from the head part down to my toes. One thing that made it more relaxing and calming was the Cleopatras Choice essential oil that she used to rub around my body. The aroma that I smell was so soothing from the nose down to my spine. It was not greasy and smelled therapeutic. Massage for me is one good way of releasing stress and negative energy that are occupying our minds and our body.

Living Room Plants

Mother loves the color purple. Her living room curtains, lacy white table cloth with purple accents and purple plants in the four corners. She also placed one in the center table that looked so lovely. Her love for plants and flowers has helped her a lot in decorating her house and her garden. Friends say that her house looks like a secret garden whenever they visit her because from the gate down to the garden, colorful lively flowers are there to greet them. And not only that, she also has fruit-bearing trees, vegetables and ornamental plants in her backyard. She’s a certified “green thumb”!

Sporty and Sexy

Some people can look sporty and some may look sexy, but it would be a complete package if one looks sporty and so sexy just like this equestrienne featured on t.v. last night in a talk show. Her name is Toni, who doesn’t know her? She’s a famous equestrienne in the country and has made her name in the continent for such sport. She learned horseback riding since she was a kid and became professional and a master through time. She looked so sexy in her equestrian coat, faded jeans and suede half chaps. Her long wavy hair and a perfectly sexy body. God has blessed her for such assets. Good luck and good looks, Toni!

Visiting Grandpa

It has been two years since I last visited my grandpa in Arizona. My dad got a new job in another city far north and so we moved there. I went to a new school, met new friends and came to love and get used to the new place. I asked my mom if we could visit grandpa because I already missed him and she said yes we could. I am really excited to see him, hug him like I used to, bring him some food gift baskets in Phoenix and eat together. Grandpa loves fruits. He’ll be happy to see us there again and I can’t wait! Summer, come quick!

Never Miss That Game!

I was out-of-town for a vacation when my friend informed me of the championship game that we have been following on t.v. and I was so disappointed when the local cable provider was down. I immediately called their office and asked about updates of their service and informed me that their fiber optic was under repair and it was going to take some time to have it fixed. That couldn’t be. I can’t miss the game! I had no other choice, so I thought of watching the game’s live streaming in the internet through the site’s pay per download. It was quite costly but I never missed the game.

Kudos to all technology geniuses for inventing such audio conferencing thing. I am just grateful of this technology because I get to have a live conversation with my loved ones here and abroad at one time. I do not need to call my mother, dad or my sisters on the phone at a time anymore. We can now talk together, discuss things and share our updates at one setting! Just imagine the money, time and effort that we can save through this conferencing. Great job for these guys who continue to make life even better and easier!

As a gift to myself and my family, I bought a 37-inch LCD television set, a high-definition DVD player and a surround speaker set for a better television and movie time with my loved ones. It took me a few months saving quite an amount for this entertainment system since it has been years that we’ve been trying to just settle and be contented with our old model television set. And why not? We deserve these good things because we’ve been good boys and girls..Haha..Now, my next assignment is to look for a store who sells good kinds of flat screen tv stands and entertainment racks for a much better feel. Relaxing and watching good movies need not be experienced at the theaters only, they can also be at home!

Last December, my sister from Thailand went home for the holidays. She brought with her a lot of beautiful crafts and stuffs from Thailand which are for her presents to us while some are for sale. She brought hand-made wall decors, beaded table runners, elephant wood carvings, coffee cups with photographs among others. I really love Thai art. They are unique, intricately-made and very unique, simply amazing! These stuffs are additions to my collection of art works. Until your next home-coming, big sissie!

Kids’ Presents

Every time I am on travel, it is but natural for me to bring some presents or something for my husband, my kids and our housemates. After accomplishing my business, I find time to go to malls or super marts to look for something that I could bring back home. Usually, I buy souvenir shirts for our housemates in every new place that I go to, something unique and memorable for my hubby and the easiest are toys for the kids, except when I find something that can be more useful to them. One time, I bought yomega yo-yos for the three boys and they were very happy they got it. They tried to learn new tricks and they all enjoyed playing with them. This may be the reason why they never complain on me going out because they already know there are “presents” for them on my return..Hahaha

May is the month where four members of our family are celebrating their birthdays on, my husband, my little sissie, my dad and my uncle. We usually spend their birthdays with a simple dinner with the family and some close friends or a party at the beach over a charcoal broiled fish, beef and delicious sea foods and of course, some personalized gifts each of us has prepared for each of the celebrants. Simple it may be yet, but that’s how we love to do it and it helps us get closer as one big family and a special time to bond with each other.

In a 2nd class city like Ozamiz, basketball & perhaps soccer are still more popular than tennis. Although not insanely popular now, tennis is nothing new to the city & its residents. As tennis increases in popularity to some adults & young recreational players alike, there are also a surprising number of tennis courts springing up in the city & even in the nearby smaller towns. Thus, on the feast day of Our Lady of the Immaculate, the city’s patron saint, friendly tennis matches have been organized as one of the highlights of the city’s fiesta celebration.

Open For Business

Now that my husband’s law office is already done, next move is the office sign board and the hanging address plaque. Actually, we have already lay outed the office seal which only needs a little editing on the graphics before printing. We will be needing one large-sized sign board about 8ft x 3ft big to be placed on top of the office entrance and one 3ft x 1.5ft that is to placed in the corner of the street right above the address plate so that our clients will not have a hard time looking for our office. To our valued clients and soon-to-be clients, law office is now open for business!

Stressful Shopping

I just had a not-so-nice shopping experience over the weekend. I was in a supermarket for my weekly marketing and I was quite stressed when I was at the payment counter. A lot of the prices of the stuffs that I got in my cart needed to be checked by the supervisor for erroneous or changed prices but I had a feeling that their barcode scanners and computers are defective that the cashier had to input the codes to the computer manually. It was not any good at all. I got a cart full of stuffs and counting them manually isn’t fun either! But I did not have a choice, so I waited for quite a while. Gosh, that thing is not going to happen again. Not when I’m in a hurry!

Sunset by the Bay

Watching the sun set by the bay together with my loved one is the most romantic thing I’d like to do. Oh how I love the breeze that gently blows to my skin with every roll of sea towards the shore. Holding hands while we sway in a lover’s air chair, my head in his shoulders whispering words of love and sweetness enjoying the most of our lone time together. This is the thing I will always love to do everyday. My most romantic expression of love.

Designing our home is one of my favorite chores to do. That would include arrangement of our living room, bedrooms, our small library, dining room and kitchen as well as our lawn. Our living room is just simply decorated with a few pairs of porcelain jars and jade wall frames. We have two sets of sofa, one is a ten-piece woven rattan sala set and one corduroy-covered foam sofa set. I am thinking of buying a log furniture to match with my tropical ambiance in the garden beside the hammock. Surrounding my 50 square meter garden are ornamental and flowering plants and bermuda grass. I still have to search for dealers of good log furniture sets and compare their quality, design and of course, the price. Anyone you know whom to inquire? Thanks!
