The world celebrates Mother’s Day! It’s one way to thank and pay respect to our mothers for all the great things they’ve done to our lives. Thai people celebrate Mother’s Day on the 12th of August, which is also the birth anniversary of Thailand’s highly revered queen, HRH Majesty Queen Sirikit. I’ve observed that the Thai people would really try to spare a day or two to visit and pay respect to their mothers on this very special occasion. My mom was no exception. She’s not a Thai but since she’s equally special, everyday is Mother’s Day for us. This year was different and the way we celebrated mom’s special day was simple yet extraordinary. As she is fond of arts and handcrafting, we requested her instead to create a work of art as her special present to us. She’s a very artistic person that she can really produce something really nice out of indigenous materials only and so we trust that she could produce something beautiful to commemorate Mom’s Day. After all, my mom was an early childhood teacher and was a small project and livelihood program coordinator in the past, so, creative arts and innovative ideas are her cups of tea. My Mother’s Day present for her? A variety of promotional pens that I recently bought for that specific purpose. She likes to collect any kinds of pens: ballpoint, drawing, marking, coloring, etc. Pens are her best friends — she can just draw and write things that amaze her. Should you also want to check out on some other promotional pens, visit www.usimprints.com and you will see lots of beautiful products that are sold there — cheap, too!
