How would you like to watch your favorite sports or tv shows in your car—while driving your car? Not only that, you would not want to miss any emails or internet news either, would you? A cutting-edge technological advancement in communication systems has just been launched recently with streaming videos or live TV via a satellite dish. This is one product one satellite company has just introduced to the market. Let me get to the bottom of all these hi-tech news so I can write extensively on the matter in my next post.
However, if mobile connectivity is what you’re looking for, then search no more because you can already get it now. Microsoft has just unveiled its plans at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show to get cars up to speed with Sync, Microsoft’s new in-car operating system. Say, MS Windows on the wheels? Yes, listening to music and turning your car into a rolling entertainment venue without manually scrolling your iPods for tracks of music is the next big fashion in the auto industry.
With Sync, you can drive your car safely while speaking on the phone as you can now connect your mobile phones and media players to your car because of its Bluetooth-based system. Some cars have built-in Bluetooth connectivity while many others even already have installed voice-activated controls on their steering wheels. Wow, we’ve gone too far already. And if you’re considering buying a new car, then you will surely get one already with an iPod integration in it. I’m not sure if it’s available in Asia but it is in the western part of the world. Just make sure that you don’t play too much with Microsoft’s Sync and forget about your driving. One blogger said that it’s great for him as he’s been looking for a car that will crash itself. Hmmm…no further comment ;).
