Our kids’ annual Family Day ‘11 celebration in school was a bit different from the previous years’. It started earlier in the morning with a parade/motorcade participated in by pupils each with their own families, the faculty and staff and guests. After the parade, there was a stage play presented by some pupils and teachers depicting the life of a family of 3 kids who’s mother is a nurse working overseas and they were left with their father who later had a problem risking the unity and sanctity of their family. It was so touching and the audience got emotional, some even burst into tears which made it the hottest topic at lunch time. There were parlor games and friendly sportsfest between parents and teachers and some pupils. The most awaited part was the variety show in the evening where pupils in each grade levels showed fantastic performances, production numbers and awesome talents in colorful attires, artistic props and hip hop clothes. ‘Twas such a long and tiring day but the kids and the families had a perfect time together!
